Happenings

Mom and I have been busy doing lots of little things here and there over the past week or so...

Here I am checking out my Aunna's amazing garden - I was very impressed! She lifted me waaaaaaayyyyyy up to grab a cucumber...

I was very proud!!!

We also have been doing lots of cooking and "grocery store" role play - one day I ran to get my mom to show her my great "grocery path" - we both thought it was rather cool!

We are also starting to think about the Fall coming and trying to establish a new routine as I get ready for homeschool preschool - mom has been working really hard to put together a schedule that works for us. It will be a change for both of us to have a set schedule each day that includes schooling, but we know it will be for the best and we will be much more productive!!! Anyway, we have done some schooling throughout the summer and here are some pics of me playing in shaving cream - I also practiced letters and numbers in the shaving cream, but true to being "all boy" I would much rather "play" than "work."

We also had a great time collecting different objects with different shapes and textures to make an "everything" board. I thought my collage turned out great!!

Fun with Hannah Day Two!!!

Today was another fun-filled day with my friend Hannah - I feel so blessed to have such a great friend!!!!

I ran! Neither of us really hid - it was really fun!

After the park it started to rain a little bit - so we put our bathing suits on and took a bubble bath. Mom said we were hot, sticky, and dirty anyway so it was perfect - now there is one less thing for both of our families to do tonight =)

I've had such a great time with my special friend.

O-U-C-H!!`

I had to take my first trip to the ER over the 4th of July weekend. I was going potty like a big boy and the toilet seat fell down on me. OUCH!!! Mommy called the doctor and the doctor said...take that baby to the hospital to get checked out. So, off we went. The dr's and nurses were so nice and took good care of me. One of the workers gave me a stuffed animal and then came back right before we left to give me another bear because I was such a cute patient. The doctor said I would be okay and that I could take Motrin for a few days until the pain went away...phew!!!

Free Ice Cream!!

Yum Yum - after bath time last night I snuggled into my jammies and got ready for story time, but daddy surprised us by taking us to the ice cream store down the street from us. Daddy and Mommy put their jammies on and off we went....they were giving away free ice cream cones to everyone that wore their jammies that night! It was delicious. I seen two doggies wearing their jammies too - and the girls that were working even gave me a blue balloon. I thought it was the best thing ever - then....mommy and daddy took me to a neighborhood park to run off some more of my wiggles. It was a great night!!!

I sure do love my Mocha. Can you see her hiding underneath all of my puppets??? She is so patient with me. Mom says that she lets me do it because it's the only time during the day when I am not chasing her. =)

A long awaited play day

I've been wanting Hannah to come over to play with me for a very long time. We both have been busy having summer fun and I didn't want summer to end without some time for silly fun!
Well, unfortunately her mommy is on bedrest...but that means that I get Hannah for two days in a row before my mommy has surgery. Check out what we did today....

Hannah and I made lots of masterpieces today - we played with the markers for at least an hour.

Then it was time for puppets!!!

We had to squeeze some music fun into the day.



Then we put our swimming gear on....

and hopped into the pool!

We used team work to make the animals fall into the water table

and had some fun dumping water on each other

Mommy asked us to pose for a picture, then she said, "can you give each other a big hug?" ...

...ummmmm....I think the definition of a hug got mixed up for both of us. Mommy was laughing so hard that she missed the shot of us when we decided to hug. =)

After lunch we had some fun in the pop up houses and tunnels

I showed Hannah how to climb around like a lion, a monkey, and a puma.

Now we are napping...I wonder what we'll do next?!?!?!
