Welcome home Aunt Joan

These pics are from a couple of weeks ago, but my mom just pulled pics off of her cell phone.

I went with my mommy to pick my Aunt Joan up from the airport on a Thursday afternoon (she was coming home from Florida). We decided to go to Old Mexico for dinner and she surprised me with some great gifts from Florida. I got a lizard and a frog that I can use in the bath tub. I loved them so much that I asked if I could sleep with them that night. I also got a wiggly wormy toy........it kind of scared me, but I also thought it was a little bit funny. I ask my mommy to take it out to play with and then I laugh and say "scare me, scare me!"
I also got a great t-shirt - I think it will fit me better in the summer, but mom did let me run around the house with it on that evening.

She also brought me a great book called, "Goodnight Florida." I love reading it before bedtime.
I had a lot of fun going to pick up Aunt Joan. I showed mom all of the airplanes as they landed and took off and enjoyed a great Mexican dinner with my aunt.

A visit with my Papa

As promised here is the pic of me with my Papa at the hospital. I was showing him how to do his breathing exercises so that his lungs stay clear after being under anesthetic...I was pretty good at it!

It is so nice that the hospitals are moving to private rooms. When my daddy was in the hospital I had a hard time going to visit him because I was afraid of the other people in his room. Now, that the rooms are private I am much more comfortable. I enjoyed my snack, checked out the medical equipment, went for a walk with my Grandma and even took some time to let Papa kiss my stomach :-)

Time with my Papa

My Grandma and Papa came over last night to visit me before my Papa had to have surgery. I love going for a "hold on tight" ride on his back so he took me for a ride. He had knee surgery today so it will be awhile before he and I can do this again. It was sooooo much fun! My mom will put more pics up of my time with my Papa in the hospital...she has to pull the pics off of her phone. Get well soon Papa!!!

Happy Halloween, Trick or Treat, Time to Party

I woke up on Halloween morning so excited to go trick or treating and to have a party at my house. I helped my mommy make the food, but I had the most fun baking the desserts.

***Notice our matching shirts :-) A very cute pre-trick or treating pic
All ready to go....

Getting a little treat with my Grandma

My Aunna came trick or treating with me too.

We found a big pile of leaves and I could not resist jumping in to play!!!! What fun!

Trick or Treat! I tend to be rather shy so every time I went to a house I would whisper "trick or treat thanks" it was adorable!

Loved this pumpkin

I was sad in this picture, but I really did have a grea time with my friends.

I was sooooo happy to see my Papa. I didn't know that he was coming and when I seen him I grabbed his hand and took him trick or treating with me.

The whole gang

SCARY!!!! My cousin Melissa was kind of scary and kind of silly to me...we had fun together and I was so happy she came.

Yeah...I made it back to my house and got some yummy candy from my Aunt Joan.
Check out our loot!

We always put all of our candy into a big pile and the adults sort it and make sure it is all safe. Then we get to go through and pick out whatever we want...it is a lot of fun because we get to keep only the candy that we like the most. Here are Keisha and Daniel picking out their goodies.

Getting my pumpkin ready for Halloween

Ooey, Gooey - I loved playing with pumpkin guts and watching my dad get my pumpkin ready for its new face.

The pumpkin guts were super slimey and lots of fun to play with, but I was ready to get my hands washed up and let dad finish the rest.

Dad put the finishing touches on my pumpkin while mom took me to get cleaned up and put my jammies on - I was soooo happy to see the finished product!

The next morning I ran to see my jack-o-lantern. I was soooo proud of it!
Notice my great pumpkin shirt???? It was a very thoughtful gift from my friend Hannah. So cute!!!
I loved pointing to the eyes, ears, and mouth and also loved feeding the jack-o-lantern my pretend food.

Stinky Pumpkin with my daddy

A very fun evening

Last week my friend Hannah came over to play with me while her mommy and daddy went out for a birthday celebration (Happy Birthday Mrs. Becky). I was so happy. We had a great time playing with blocks, animals, kitchen food, books, puzles, balls etc. etc. etc.

I love having Hannah for a friend. She has such a joyful, tender heart and it is a great blessing to have her in my life.
