My 2nd Birthday Celebration

I had a fantastic birthday celebration today!!! I seen all of my family and was even able to see my friend Hannah and her mommy and daddy. I played and played all day long and was sooooo tired by the end of the day. I am so thankful to everyone that came over to celebrate my 2nd year of life with me and for the love that everyone shares with me. I also loved all of the wonderful presents. I've already watched an Elmo video, read some new books, played baseball, put a construction toy in my bath, drove a new car, packed my backpack with a coloring book and put some new clothes in my room. I get to take my Thomas Train with me on my trip to Frankenmuth tomorrow and I can't wait. It was a wonderful day filled with laughter, balloons, and everyone I love!!!!

Here I am with my Aunt Joan...she made my birthday cake and it was soooooo good!!!!!This is my cousin Melissa and my Aunna. Here is pic of my Grandma and Grandpa Cripe, my cousin Emma, and my aunt Renee. I can't wait to set it up!!!!I also got my first quad car....mommy is happy that I also got a helmet for my birthday...this is a fun present :-)I was so thankful that my good friend Hannah came over to see me on birthday. She and I had a lot of fun bouncing in the bounce house.

Check it out...I am learning how to use my quad already!!!!

Silly times after everyone left playing "get you" with Mocha.

Today was such a wonderful day. Jesus created a beautiful day and I am so thankful that I was able to experience God's blessings in my life in such an abundant way. Thank you everyone!!!!!

Two Year Old Pics

Mommy took me up to Sears the other day to get a few snapshots of me for my 2nd birthday party. I was such a good boy and had so much fun! We still want to get some "spontaneous" shots and outdoor pics when I get my pictures taken again from our new friend Miss Trenda. I love looking at all of my pictures. And I loved sharing them on my birthday. The one below is one of mom's favorites....

My first parade!

Today was such an incredible day. My mommy, Grandma, and Papa took me to the Farmington Founder's Parade and Festival. This was the first time I've been to a parade and I loved it! We arrived at the parade just in time and enjoyed every second of it. I was fascinated with all of the sights and sounds of the parade.I thought it was pretty cool when the clowns and other parade participants gave me candy. Mommy let me have my first lollipop. It was SOOOOOO good! I love being a kid!!!!The music was great. I also liked watching the diffferent groups of dancers. God has blessed many people with lots of talent. I'm happy they were willing to share it. The clowns were funny. They drove silly cars, had goofy hair, and made the parade a lot of fun.
I was surprised to see someone SO TALL. Stilt walkers are very cool.
Of course I was super excited to see all of the horses in the parade. They were beautiful!

One of the most surprising parts of the parade was seeing my friend Hannah and her mommy walking in the parade. They were there supporting their church and sharing with people how wonderful Jesus is! I talked about Hannah for the rest of the night.

I was also really happy to see some of my mommy's friends from her "old" job walking along with the school bus. When I seen the bus I started shouting for my Aunna. She drives a school bus and it made me think of her.

The balloon truck came by and the clowns gave me a blue balloon for my birthday. I LOVE balloons!!!
When the parade was over I was ready to go check out the rest of the festival. Ahh, a great day!

I will be sure to tell my mommy to post some new pics very soon. I will be celebrating my birthday tomorrow with my family and then heading to the Bavariann Inn Lodge in Frankenmuth for my birthday day (my daddy is staying home because he has a cold, but my mommmy, Aunna, Grandma, and Papa are coming). I am so thankful to be such a blessed little boy!!!!

Tuesday is park day...and the day of my first harvest

Going to the park on Tuesdays is so much fun. I usually get to see my friend Hannah and that makes me very happy. I started asking for her on Monday afternoon through the evening and was thrilled when my mommy told me I would be able to play with her at Rotary Park today. She is a lot of fun and I am thankful to have her as a special friend.

Hannah and I played on the swings and bouncy animals at the park together. We even had some fun at the water fountain right before we left.

Mom tried to get a picture of me on the other side of the bubble, but everytime she tried to take a snapshot I turned around. Better luck next time mom....
I watched the kids play on the merry-go-round for a couple of minutes and then I asked if I could try it. I was a lot of fun. At first the kids went kind of slow for me. Then, more kids came and it got faster and faster.

I met another boy named Joshua and he was much older than me. He was very kind towards me and told my mommy that he would sit next to me so that I wouldn't fall off when we went really fast. It was so much fun! I can't wait to take my daddy to this park to spin around with him.

I had a lot of fun climbing up the steps and sliding down the slide. I also wanted to try to climb up the slide once I went down...it wasn't very easy.
Hannah and I had a great time washing our hands and splashing around in the water fountain just before we left the park. I was just tall enough to be able to open wide for a refreshing drink. I wasn't very happy to leave the fountain...water is my favorite thing to play with, but going home for lunch and a nap was just what I needed. My aunna was coming over to play with me and mom wanted to make sure I was well rested.

When my aunna came over today we played and took a walk to go look at the fishy's together. Before she left I went out with her to pick my first cucumber from our patio pots. I was very proud of my first harvest. My mommy cut it up for our family to enjoy at dinner time...yum, yum!

Have a great week everyone. Mom and I will be getting ready for my 2nd birthday celebration. I can't wait to see my family on Sunday and have fun celebrating all of God's blessings in my life!

The Toledo Zoo

I went to the Toledo Zoo last week with my mom, Grandma, Aunna, Keisha, and Daniel. I had so much fun. I really liked looking at the "animal heads." The fish was my favorite. I also liked putting my head inside of the dog head. How silly! Here is a pic of my Grandma, Keisha and I. We had a great time looking at all of the fish. There were tons of them...even jellyfish, sharks, and crabs.

I was really interested in looking at the baby owl until I got up close to it for a photo op. It was really nice to be able to see different animals up close...too close wasn't much fun though.

I was really close to the baby camel. I did a little bit better looking at this animal up close because my mommy held me and took pictures at the same time....phew!

The Rhino's were SO BIG! I talked about them for days after we came home.

I really liked going to the log cabin to view the wolves. They were sleeping, but they were so pretty to look at and reminded me of my doggy, Mocha.

I was able to see elephants for the first time ever at the Toledo Zoo. They were also really big and it would have been nice if they had more space to roam in. We were happy to get a picture of Aunna, Keisha, Daniel, Mommy and Me near their habitat. They were busy dusting themselves with dirt.

The polar bears were the best! They were so active and so close. We stayed in the polar bear exhibit for nearly 20 minutes. They were swimming, jumping, climbing and playing with a ball.

After a while we need to sit down for a water break and some lunch. We were able to watch the black bears while we rested.
This is a pic of me with the whole gang as we were leaving the zoo. I was super tired from a fun-filled day at the zoo. I am so thankful to God that I have a family that loves me and that enjoys making wonderful memories with me. Mommy took this pic of Keisha and I on the way home from the zoo...we both zonked out for the entire ride home!!!!
