Park Day with my Dad and Mom

On Tuesday my MOPS group was scheduled to go to the Splash Park, but it was kind of chilly in the morning. So, once it warmed up a bit - my mom took me to my daddy's job to play at the park and have lunch with him. It was so much fun...I can't wait to go back! I went up and down the slides...... Through the tunnels....dad barely fit :-)

Hey...daddy tried to get me :-)

Another tunnel!!!

Flying on the swings was a blast!

It was almost time for lunch, but I had to scoot through the tunnel one last time.

Here I am playing Peek-a-Boo with my mommy.

I love my mom!

I got to go work with my dad for a little bit after I played in the park and had lunch!

When I left, I was a dollar richer (thanks to Denise) and I got to take my dad's "squeezy brain: home with me...

Later that night....I got into a little bit of mischief....here I am pulling all of the kleenex out of the box in the bathroom...mischief is kind of fun!

Food, Family, Fun

A couple of weeks ago we went to my Papa and Grandma's house for some pool time with our family. Before we went I helped my mom make cupcakes for everyone to enjoy later in the day. I was such a good helper!!!
When I was all done mixing the batter I got to sneak a lick...yummy!!!
Later that day I finally got to taste the cupcake...I was really excited and only took little tastes to start - then....

I just decided that I would paint my tray and my face with the most yummy dessert ever - what fun! I love making messes :-)
After I got all cleaned up I went swimming. Here I am with Grandma and Keisha and the blaring sun!!!Everyone loves to kiss on me...here I am being silly with my Aunt Joan.
My Papa loves to kiss my stomach. It makes me laugh hysterically...I love it!

The Woodward Dream Cruise Continued...

Here are some more pictures from the 2009 Dream Cruise - This is a pic of my mom and I in front of my Grandpa Cripes Studebaker truck.

Here is my Grandma and I near a BIG car. I think it was like a car my Grandma and Papa used to drive when they were younger.

I stood in the back of Grandpa Cripe's truck. I was sooooo good...I kept my hands to myself and didn't touch anything :-)

Here I am with my Papa and my Grandpa Cripe...how special!

I had a ton of fun playing in the puddles in the lower level office area of downtown Birmingham during the Dream Cruise. This was one of the best parts of the day!!! Who cares about cars when you can splash in puddles!!!This was pretty funny...a pink doggy at the Dream Cruise. How Silly!
Just before we left we walked over to Woodward to see the cars cruising. There were some really neat cars and some really loud cars. It was a great day!

My cousin Ian's B-day

I went to my cousin Ian's 17th birthday party last Saturday...can you believe we didn't get a picture of him and I while we were there...go figure?!?!?! Anyway, I've loved this wooden bird that they have at their house since I was really little, but the best part was hanging out with their HUGE dog Jasper...he is so cool - and so big! My Aunt Renee has some reall cool decorations in her house. I loved this lamp because there was a butterfly in it (pretend of course). I spent a lot of time checking it out! Here I am with my Grandma Cripe...you can also see my Grandpa Cripe and my Aunt Renee in the background. I wished that I could have stayed longer, but I was really tired and had to go home to take a nap. I can't wait to go play with Jasper again!

ODDS -N- ENDS

I know its been awhile since my mommy has sat down to blog. So - here are some random pics of me and what I've been up to these days.

Check out my grumpy face and big feet :-) I love putting on my dads shoes, but I don't like stopping the fun for the camera!! I'm very into making forts these days. This one was made out of my table and living room blanket, but it was more fun to climb on top of it and just be silly!

My Aunt Joan had her knee replaced at Beaumont Hospital last week. When we went to see her the AFLAC people had this cool race car there. AFLAC really helped my mom and dad when my daddy was sick so we stopped to chat with them. They gave me an AFLAC duck dressed as a race car driver, a signed poster, and lots of time to look at the car.

This pic was taken several weeks ago of Hannah and I...we both look so guilty, but of course we are both angels :-)

A week in review

Wow...what a great week! Everything started on Friday, August 7th. It was my mom and dad's 10 year anniversary day, but the plan was that my friends Keisha and Daniel would come over to play with me all day and then come with me to my Grandma and Papa's house for an ice cream social. Well, they did come over, and we did go to the ice cream social...but it ended up being a 10 year anniversary celebration for my mommy and daddy. My mom had to get pics from my Grandma and she will post them soon.
Anyway, here I am enjoying my first cereal necklace...Keisha and Daniel made one too, but the pictures didn't turn out.

Here are Keisha and I swinging away on a lazy summer day!On Tuesday I went to Bell Creek Park with my mom and our friends from MOPS. Here I am with Hannah trying to find a rabbit. We never seen a rabbit, but we did see poison ivy so we decided to be safe and walk away.Tobin, Hannah, and me enjoying some time at the park.I love hanging out in the mulch!!!!Here are our friends Ezra, Tobin and their mommy Trenda. They are so nice and we can't wait to get to know them better as we plug into MOPS this fall. Here is my friend Hannah checking out the tire swing. Can you see her french braids? They were adorable!!!!Here I am running across the bridge!
The whole week was filled with loads of fun. I went to my Papa and Grandma's house Sunday - Wednesday to swim and on Thursday my Aunna came over to play with me. On Friday morning my mommy took me outside for a scavenger hunt. I had to try to find a flower, a stick, a rock, a leaf, grass, and mulch. I found some other things also.... :-) Here I am checking my scavenger hunt bag to see if I have a stick yet...I didn't.Voila! A stick...first I have to play with it. Then I can show it to my mom...I was so proud everytime I found something on the list.We were just about done when we seen this little caterpillar crawling on the grass. It was the most exciting thing to see.
My mom put it on a stick for me and we watched it for a long time. The caterpillar crawled up and down the stick and..... I finally touched it...it was very soft and wiggly...but so much fun!

We finally decided to let the caterpillar crawl around on the tree. It was a great experience!

I also found a whole pile of rocks to play in :-) Look at this face....
Here is my scavenger hunt poster. I am very proud of all of the things I found in my yard and so thankful for all of the things God made for me to enjoy in this great big wonderful world.I had to toss this one in...posing for a pic.

On Friday night my Uncle Rob and Grandpa Cripe came over to visit. Uncle Rob is visiting from California for the Woodward Dream Cruise. My Grandpa Cripe just finished restoring his 3rd vehicle...this one is a Studebaker truck.

All the Cripe Boys....

More pics to come from the Dream Cruise...we went on Saturday to see all of the cars.

Bye, Bye Grandpa and Uncle Rob....

It was a great week. I'm going swimming at my Papa and Grandma's house tomorrow...I'll ask my mom to take some pics and post those soon. Have a great week everyone!
